SHAMROCKS & SHENANIGANS FESTIVAL MARCH 17

The festivities kick off as McFaddens opens at 6 a.m. and Raglan Road Irish Pub opens at 8 a.m. Both Irish-themed taverns will feature breakfast and fun to kick off the spirited festivities. Live music kicks off on the KC Live Stage at 10 a.m. with local U2 cover band Rattle & Hum. Other bands throughout the day include Flannigans Right Hook, A.M.I.M and Auto Vein. Eve 6 takes the stage about 6 p.m. The 2nd Annual Shamrocks & Shenanigans is sponsored by Miller Lite.

RA SUSHI INTRODUCES ANNUAL CHARITY FUNDRAISER TO KANSAS CITY MAY 30 - JUNE 5

All proceeds from special food and beverage items benefit St. Jude hildrens Research Hospital

LEAWOOD, Kan.   Scottsdale-based RA Sushi Bar Restaurant will host its annual Nicky's Week fundraiser May 30 - June 5 to benefit the internationally-renowned St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

All 25 RA Sushi locations, including Leawood, will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of various food and beverage items to help treat and cure children with life-threatening illnesses. RA Sushi has raised more than $500,000 for St. Jude since the fundraiser was initiated in 2005 and has a goal to donate an additional $125,000 to the organization this year. RA Sushi opened in Leawood at Park Place in August 2009 and will be participating in Nicky's Week for the first time this year.
