JJ's is located just west of the Country Club Plaza on 48th St. and has been locally owned and operated by restaurateur Jimmy Frantze for over 27 years. Rated by the Zagat Survey as one of Kansas City's top restaurants, JJ's is committed to serving only the highest quality food prepared with fresh, local, organically-grown ingredients.  JJ's is known for its thick Kansas City steaks, fresh seafood and daily pasta specials.
The wine list has been named as "one of the best wine lists in the world" by the Wine Spectator and offers a cellar of 30,000 bottles to choose from.

Our private space, The Saber Room is ideal for up to 50 seated guests, or 75 for buffets and cocktail parties. It provides a comfortable& elegant atmosphere, with floor to ceiling windows, original art and wine racks accenting the room. Your guests will be attended to with outstanding service, and, of course, exceptional JJ’s cuisine. The Saber Room derives its name from Jimmy Frantze's membership in Moet & Chandon's elite Club des Sabreurs.
