" We just loved the service you get at Longhorn and we have a favorite waitress, Patty. She treats us like family and sits down and talks with us every visit. The steaks just melt in your mouth, they are so tasty and tender, everything is awesome. The salads have a variety of veggies and dressing tastes homemade. The bread is wonderful and I love their baked sweet potatoes, and steamed asparagus. The desserts are out of this world also and they have a good wine list. We always have wine with our dinner. |

"consistently great steaks. Now that we are "seniors", my husband and i prefer smaller portions, so we often split a dinner. Longhorn staff is very
accommodating, and even splits it onto separate plates in the kitchen. we really appreciate that. Great staff, friendly, prompt service. |

"I have tried both the 119th & Metcalf and Olathe Longhorn restaurants. Food and service at both were superior to the average. The Olathe Longhorn has a very inviting atmosphere!!!! Very cozy. All 6 people were very pleased with food, service and atmosphere!! Kids are hard to please; they even liked the food.

"For a steak house, this restaurant just can't seem to get the steak right. I like my meat medium well - apparently the cook likes his medium rare because 3 out of 3 times I've ordered steak it came medium rare. All other menu items such as salad, appetizers, ribs, were excellent. I just know I can't order steak at Longhorn. They did mail me 2 gift cards, but that is what I used on my 3rd time back and got the medium rare steak again - I give up. From now on - ribs!" |

"We were extremely pleased with everything about this restaurant. The Wild West Shrimp is out of this world. For entrees my husband had the buffalo wings off the appetizer menu and I had the chicken tenders. Well, the wings were a bit too spicy for him so he sent them back and shared my tenders which was way more than one person needs. They too were excellent. The management was very apologetic about the wings and offered him any thing else he wanted but we were quite satisfied and do plan to frequent this establishment.

"lobster tails are equally as good as those served by the Savoy Grill, always tender, juicy, never overcooked. My husband, who was in the meat industry for over 40 years, feels their prime rib is as good as any presently served in the KC area." |

"The Longhorn is a great place to go when you really want a big juicy steak. It's steak is as good as the really expensive restaurants downtown or on the plaza, without breaking out the hundreds. It does have a more "chainy" feel to it than the fancy places, but it is after all, a chain. I highly recommend it. " |

"The steaks are delicious! The seasoning "fairy dust" that they put on them was wonderful. Their sides were great. The service was really helpful, nice and they knew their stuff. I will make sure that I eat there more often.
