"We had a very enjoyable time. Although our group was large, the waiter provided excellent friendly service. The menu selection was good, something for everyone. The group was about 1/2 and 1/2 ordering from regular menu or daily special. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered."

"A wonderful, quiet, quaint spot for a special occasion or just a relaxing night out. Our waiter was perfect - just attentive enough to make sure we had everything we needed but never intrusive. The food was superb! Fresh morel mushrooms served in a light wine sauce over a perfectly prepared steak. His suggestion of a wine went perfectly with our meal. The background music (live piano) was beautiful. We'll be returning here many times"

" Even though they were very busy, having a wine tasting and a fashion show, the service (our waiter, John, was very attentive - although he seemed to be the only server working)was wonderful and the food was superb. I thoroughly enjoyed the halibut special last evening. My husband had the mango pork tenderloin and friends enjoyed the fried ribs and sushi tuna. The bottle of wine recommended by John was perfect. Ophelia's is one of the top restaurants on our list of favorites in KC. "

"The food was very good, as was the service. I would have rated it higher, but the online menu for this restaurant is NOT the menu that was at the restaurant. In seeing the online menu, I had a mindset for what I wanted for dinner. Unfortunately, it was not there. The online menu (as of 07/13/07) is Italian, whereas the actual menu is more American Bistro. "
