" A friend and I had a wonderful lunch at Thai Place last week. The restaurant was fairly busy, but our booth seemed quiet and private. The food was excellent and the service fast. Our waitress was very friendly and eager to please. Love the spicy basil wings and the pad thai! Mmmmmm!" |

" I met my cousins at Arun one Saturday, and was very surprised that they had happy hour on a Saturday. The appetizers were great. The spicy basil wings are really good, as well as the crab wontons. They were so light! Arun is a nice spot to hang out with some friends or family just to kick back and catch up. I will definitely be going back!" |

level. The service is good, not too invasive, but attentive

"This is hands down the best
Thai food in Kansas City. The service was a little slow and the
atmosphere of this Westport restaurant could be improved on
(nicer than the one on 87th St. but still has a gawdy feel to
the decor), but the Pad Thai Noodle and Stuffed Chicken Wings
more than compensate for any shortcomings. My vegetarian friends
enjoy the broad selection of meatless dishes and my less
experimental friend was very happy with a plate of crab fried
rice. I recommend splitting the Crazy Salad with a friend as an
appetizer. It is unusual tasting and full of every type of
seafood you could imagine. The pricing is a little higher than
most K.C. Asian restaurants but the portions are enough for two
meals. One more tip, unless you are very brave do not order
anything over medium hot!" |
