Porto do SulPorto do Sul brings the traditions of a Brazilian steakhouse to southern Johnson County. Edson and Leonice Ludwig, natives of Brazil, have brought many years of experience together and welcome you to their restaurant.
The full dining experience at Porto do Sul starts with a visit to the Harvest Table where you can find an array of cheeses, salads, vegetables, warm dishes, and more. When you are ready, "Gauchos" bring meat selections to your table and you decide which you would like to try. Don't miss the signature Brazilian cut - picanha - which is a favorite! Enjoy the full Brazilian experience while sipping on the traditional drink of Brazil - a caipirinha made with the sugarcane hard liquor cachaca, sugar and lime.
At Porto do Sul, Midwest flavors are featured with many local, fresh seasonal vegetables, meats and some cheeses.
Porto do Sul also offers a separate menu in the bar area for those wanting a "lighter" experience; carryout is also available.
4pm - 6:30 pm nightly in the Porto Bar featuring a happy hour food menu and drink specials

Excellent service, family atmosphere, and food choices were abundant. I highly recommend going for a day or evening meal. You will not be disappointed.
Just had an excellent customer service experience with Edson and the Porto do Sul Overland Park location! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of us and we can't wait to bring our the whole group!!
This is my second time here in a 2 day span... I absolutely love the food n the staff is AMAZING!!! I was most impress with how the owner extended her personal service... I felt so honored... Prices are also great... They cater and do take out... Great super bowl family meal....
Enjoyed a Friday noon meal with friends. Food was awesome, very attentive staff. Not only the meat but the other foods that were available were very delicious. Was impressed that, whom we presume was the owner or at least manager, came to our table & made sure we were well taken care of & took the time to visit, even though the restaurant was busy. Didn't feel like we were being pushed out, like some restaurants tend to do, when we were done eating. Will go back to Espirito's again.
We enjoy trying out all the new restaurants in our area and we visited the Espirito do Sul last week and we were so impressed with the service the atmosphere and the food was excellent. I recommend giving this Brazilian restaurant a try. The harvest bar was perfect. All around wonderful dinner.
